James R. Lindsay is President and CEO of The Lindsay Group, LLC. He has owned the firm since 1995. The firm provides consulting services in strategic planning, fundraising, and training to nonprofit and government agencies, businesses and corporations. Mr. Lindsay has worked as a consultant to and has managed agencies and businesses for over 35 years. He taught proprietary software to GM Dealers nationally many years, was an executive at the Greater Washington Urban League, and was Executive Director of the Volunteer Clearinghouse. He is a certified grant writer for the Mayor’s Executive Office of Washington, D.C., and has served as grant reviewer for five federal agencies. Mr. Lindsay’s extensive knowledge about organizational management and administration benefits TLG’s clients in numerous ways.
Mr. Lindsay has a Bachelor’s degree from Mercer University, Macon, Ga. a Master’s degree in Social Administration from Georgia College, Milledgeville, GA. and completed work towards a Doctorate in Sociology at the University of Notre Dame at South Bend, Indiana. He is an adjunct professor teaching Sociology at the Northern Virginia Community College. He is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Dr. Constance A. Lindsay is the Vice President of The Lindsay Group, LLC. Dr. Lindsay has worked in social policy at the federal, state, and local levels and is trained as a quantitative social science researcher. Dr. Lindsay leads the firm’s evaluation practice. Dr. Lindsay has published several peer-reviewed articles, and has been featured on both local and national radio programs. Dr. Lindsay has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Duke, and Master’s degree in Public Policy from Georgetown, and Doctoral degree in Human Development and Social Policy from Northwestern with a focus on education policy. Alexander M. Wilson is an analyst with the firm. Mr. Wilson is a graduate of Hampton University, Hampton, Virginia with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Mr. Wilson assists the firm with marketing, business development, research and proposal writing.
